It has been a while since I have last posted the entry for Crimson Republic Clan. I may have missed out many, my apologies. As per my last posting, there was a personal heart matter that I had to deal with. My friend has finally laid to rest on May 4th this year and to go through the ordeal took me some time of recovery. Sunrise to a new era My, my. How time flies. First off, I have started Second Life since May 25, 2009. It was a joke to me at first when I've met my rl friend who spoke about such things; Mind you I've found it to be ridiculous at first. After a few months later, I decided to give it a try. And here I am, fast forward close to 7 years later. I am still here - Occasional off and on RL of course. I am sure, a lot of people would have experienced quite the similar cycles of this second life. The new beginnings of a friendship, the lovers, the heart broken, tragedy, marriages and even death. I never expect to still be in SL after all this time. Though, I can tell you this; that it is not an escape from my RL. But, it is my little rabbit hole to connect with my old friends over the years. Me at the Crimson Republic Event Celebrating Jadebelgie Wylie's Rezz Day My timezone happens to run the exact opposite from most of the family here in Crimson Republic. I think for those that I only get to meet as mostly, nocturnal creatures, yes people you should sleep! After so many years with the family - on and off since 2009, the only official event that I was able to attend was on Valentine's day 2010. On 4th March 2016, I manage to wake up early just to attend and was captivated by more than 50 people in the sim too, awesome celebration - worth the laggy encounters. The theme was Masquerade and I wanted to go for somewhat different rather than the usual masks that most would wear. Behind me the backdrop is not designed by me, I am using the prop as my background. I admit it was rather impulsive and in a short time, we managed to get the location and the type of pose that we want. It was all worth the waiting and the trying. The sim is full always; displaying the latest and coolest designs from this event. A total must have. After days and countless time of teleporting to the event, I managed to get in. Jadebelgie Wylie Today's post I will be featuring an old friend of mine, Jade. We met in middle 2009 when I first joined Bloodlines through Starvamp Lefevre, my former and forever liege in my heart. Through thick and thin, I look up to this lady a lot; she has been there for me. Furthermore, she is the only reason I came back to SecondLife. Not many people I know would have such persuasion; of course there are a few exceptions that i hold dear to my heart. I have left SecondLife for two years to focus on my real life's health and work balance, it was great but there is one thing about leaving SecondLife, you cannot forget who means and matters to you most. Even if this is just online and a game, the people are very much real. Back to Jadebelgie, I look up upon this strong female because of the things she had gone through and stood above.
