It has been a while since I have last posted the entry for Crimson Republic Clan. I may have missed out many, my apologies. As per my last posting, there was a personal heart matter that I had to deal with. My friend has finally laid to rest on May 4th this year and to go through the ordeal took me some time of recovery. Collabor 88 April Event I admit that I do have more works kept compared to the ones that I have displayed. Always felt it was not good enough, not that I have missed out those events; believe me I am so in love with such environment. My biggest challenge is fighting to get into a full sim after multiple tries of trying to teleport in - just to get the latest scope and attire. I am a blogger, but I am not tied to any designers. This is because of the freedom I enjoy in working on my arts; I believe in quality over time frames - I really cannot keep up with the deadlines. Second Life Art requires me to get into the mood, to feel the avatars and the type of emotions I want to invoke. Day by day, I am slowly learning and speeding up my works. After being more active in blogging for the second life fashion scene, I have realised that it gets harder than it looks. The more that I practise in my photo design skills, the more I become very OCD in the outcome of the images. Thus, leading to the end result of having both Artistic and Writer's block. So.. hate that. I guess I could just speed up my work by merely taking a snapshot and then playing with the lightning, but I can't. It took me a while to finally find the perfect accessories top, before that I use to wear it as a cloth but ever since I went full mesh avatar, such top was hard to find; until Shiny Shabby Event. Me at the Crimson Republic Event Celebrating Jadebelgie Wylie's Rezz Day My timezone happens to run the exact opposite from most of the family here in Crimson Republic. I think for those that I only get to meet as mostly, nocturnal creatures, yes people you should sleep! After so many years with the family - on and off since 2009, the only official event that I was able to attend was on Valentine's day 2010. On 4th March 2016, I manage to wake up early just to attend and was captivated by more than 50 people in the sim too, awesome celebration - worth the laggy encounters. The theme was Masquerade and I wanted to go for somewhat different rather than the usual masks that most would wear. Behind me the backdrop is not designed by me, I am using the prop as my background. Jadebelgie Wylie Today's post I will be featuring an old friend of mine, Jade. We met in middle 2009 when I first joined Bloodlines through Starvamp Lefevre, my former and forever liege in my heart. Through thick and thin, I look up to this lady a lot; she has been there for me. Furthermore, she is the only reason I came back to SecondLife. Not many people I know would have such persuasion; of course there are a few exceptions that i hold dear to my heart. I have left SecondLife for two years to focus on my real life's health and work balance, it was great but there is one thing about leaving SecondLife, you cannot forget who means and matters to you most. Even if this is just online and a game, the people are very much real. Back to Jadebelgie, I look up upon this strong female because of the things she had gone through and stood above.
