Taste of Caffeine - Bitter Indulgence
The only thing i know about coffee aside from it's aromatic scent, texture and strength; it awakens you.

It is a morning routine and a must have that I need my coffee black after my relaxing thought process at 5am, followed by the my daily running, making me feel more alive and to top it off, the taste of caffeine.

It is a reminder to snap out of it from everything I get lost and tangle in my dreams; a reality check after the much needed slumber. There are many thoughts layered in my mind and one thing I pride having to train my thoughts; I sometimes let logic rule my brain to justify my emotions and reactions. It is my only safe-proof saviour to differ and separate between Facts and Perceptions. My world is black and white mostly.

As much as I love second Life with its idea for a story-line, especially to those budding writers who wish to experience or bringing their stories to life virtually. The Roleplays for those who love a good story, the new language, culture learning for one to get an insights of deep conversational exchanges; Most importantly, Living in a different Life without aging.

This is where the sip of caffeine kicks in.

When there is death in a friendship circle, its a reminder that I am not immortal. Yes I can be truly devastated because of losing someone in my life, who wouldn't. Though the pain of losing a friend to death is not as bad as having to break a friendship, at least the passing of a friend's memory live in my heart forever with cherished memories.

As much I love living in denial and world illusion created in my mind; I like my coffee more and hate living a life because I do not like being eaten inside and not have reality bite me in the arse. Hence forcing me to drink the water of awakening.

Did you know in the Chinese culture and beliefs of reincarnation that before they cross the underworld bridge to move on to the next life, they would drink a bowl of soup in which they call it the forgotten water at the foot of the bridge before being allowed to move on. Depending on how much that you have drank them it is preferred to finish it without spilling a single drop. Though some did not listen and would carry old memories that affects their future and experiencing dejavu is one of them. The other one is not being able to forget a past love and in pursuit of them over and over again, in an endless circle that may have devastating consequences. If you watched the Chinese Odyssey movie, the entire story revolves around the Pandora box along with the underworld bridge and the forgotten soup. You will understand what I mean on not allowing the past to hold your future, not allowing past regrets to block potential opportunities in future. Some things were meant to be. In this case, the Monkey God love for the Bone demoness was meant to be before in the past and not in present. Who knows, what the future holds.

Therefore, enjoy your cup of coffee and indulge in the bittersweet memories. When you do wake up, move on because today is a new day.

Story of my Second Life

Lights.. Camera.. Action.. Drama.. AHH! Drama is unavoidable in Second Life; there is always something made up, something out of nothing. I guess this what makes the world goes around both virtual and real. People are always watching, people are always judging; this what makes most of us hide and conceal ourselves wearing a mask. Sands of Time

Sunrise to a new era My, my. How time flies. First off, I have started Second Life since May 25, 2009. It was a joke to me at first when I've met my rl friend who spoke about such things; Mind you I've found it to be ridiculous at first. After a few months later, I decided to give it a try. And here I am, fast forward close to 7 years later. I am still here - Occasional off and on RL of course. I am sure, a lot of people would have experienced quite the similar cycles of this second life. The new beginnings of a friendship, the lovers, the heart broken, tragedy, marriages and even death.
