Taste of Caffeine - Bitter Indulgence The only thing i know about coffee aside from it's aromatic scent, texture and strength; it awakens you. It is a morning routine and a must have that I need my coffee black after my relaxing thought process at 5am, followed by the my daily running, making me feel more alive and to top it off, the taste of caffeine. It is a reminder to snap out of it from everything I get lost and tangle in my dreams; a reality check after the much needed slumber. There are many thoughts layered in my mind and one thing I pride having to train my thoughts; I sometimes let logic rule my brain to justify my emotions and reactions. It is my only safe-proof saviour to differ and separate between Facts and Perceptions. My world is black and white mostly. My Virtual world of stories The photography that i have done today is taken from my own house. It took me quite some time to find the bookshelf that I needed. It was pricey at first to grab it and at the same time having to assemble it by myself. However when I read the note card that the Creator who made the title that says 'The NC you'll never read', I ended up reading it instead and found it hilarious with a strong justification on why the bookcase is priced in such. Poor guy painstakingly made all 100 copies to be exact and so this firmed my decision to buy it!. Yea that note card that you thought I would never read.. i did and it was worth it because without it, i would not be able to come up with this entry idea. Lights.. Camera.. Action.. Drama.. AHH! Drama is unavoidable in Second Life; there is always something made up, something out of nothing. I guess this what makes the world goes around both virtual and real. People are always watching, people are always judging; this what makes most of us hide and conceal ourselves wearing a mask. My Balancing Act  After 2 years of Second Life hiatus and back to focusing in my Real Life. I have returned to this virtual world - at first for a friend and now, reassessing myself within this virtual reality. I remember in the earlier days where I've got drawn into this game and ended up losing my reality. That 2 year break helped me to find the balance; furthermore, my very own SL friends themselves reminding me that second life should be our platform where we gather and share our interest, fun and life. While at the same time, it is a gateway to knowledge sharing and gateway. I have made penpals to some of SL Friends exchanging post cards and gifts; but of course the caution to Second Life experiences; we have to be careful who we give our real life details to. I enjoyed being Isleen's personal shopper. I guess having friends to attend the gacha not only helps you save money but also easier to trade amongst ourselves. Music for my soul artwork After days of reading tutorials, studying artwork from other designers and also speaking to some, I managed to piece the ideas together. Sunrise to a new era My, my. How time flies. First off, I have started Second Life since May 25, 2009. It was a joke to me at first when I've met my rl friend who spoke about such things; Mind you I've found it to be ridiculous at first. After a few months later, I decided to give it a try. And here I am, fast forward close to 7 years later. I am still here - Occasional off and on RL of course. I am sure, a lot of people would have experienced quite the similar cycles of this second life. The new beginnings of a friendship, the lovers, the heart broken, tragedy, marriages and even death. I never expect to still be in SL after all this time. Though, I can tell you this; that it is not an escape from my RL. But, it is my little rabbit hole to connect with my old friends over the years. After being more active in blogging for the second life fashion scene, I have realised that it gets harder than it looks. The more that I practise in my photo design skills, the more I become very OCD in the outcome of the images. Thus, leading to the end result of having both Artistic and Writer's block. So.. hate that. I guess I could just speed up my work by merely taking a snapshot and then playing with the lightning, but I can't. Me at the Crimson Republic Event Celebrating Jadebelgie Wylie's Rezz Day My timezone happens to run the exact opposite from most of the family here in Crimson Republic. I think for those that I only get to meet as mostly, nocturnal creatures, yes people you should sleep! After so many years with the family - on and off since 2009, the only official event that I was able to attend was on Valentine's day 2010. On 4th March 2016, I manage to wake up early just to attend and was captivated by more than 50 people in the sim too, awesome celebration - worth the laggy encounters. The theme was Masquerade and I wanted to go for somewhat different rather than the usual masks that most would wear. Behind me the backdrop is not designed by me, I am using the prop as my background. I admit it was rather impulsive and in a short time, we managed to get the location and the type of pose that we want.
