Little broom riding fun  It has been a while since I've last updated my blog due to many commitments in real life and not to mentioned, being down under the weather for the last 3 weeks; gruesome, I turned into the slime and tissue monster. Lights.. Camera.. Action.. Drama.. AHH! Drama is unavoidable in Second Life; there is always something made up, something out of nothing. I guess this what makes the world goes around both virtual and real. People are always watching, people are always judging; this what makes most of us hide and conceal ourselves wearing a mask. In this case, our avatars. The only viewers seeing this through the lens are our own eyes. therefore, not forgetting an important message, I always remind myself.  Only you know the real you. Rainy days at a wonderful picturesque sim It has been a while since I've last update my entry, there was so many ideas, events and other new releases but very little time. Second Life is a fast paced time where a month seemed like a year and the days moved like the time; so very quickly. Often, I forgot to pause and enjoy the moments. Today, I decide to halt my time and enjoy this beautiful place, admiring the carefully but detailed environment of this sim. It did not take me long to figure out the best angle or location, I simply rocked up in this attire and found my perfect spot; the bridge overlooking the playful swans or ducks. The rainy environment in this photo is done by me. Therefore, this is the only extra enhancements I did for this picture. My favourite time is always the Morning Rain. Arch-angel second life photo  This is a little piece of Second Life photography work I did and thanks to this beautiful and poetic sim known as Preiddeu Annwn. It gave me the inspiration to bring the entire picture to life. My concept of this photo is about an angel guiding the spirit ships to the heavens.Clad in Astralia's beautiful make from the newly launched Garden gacha event, I was able to realised this imagery from my imagination. Second Life has kept me busy, but of all things I find joy in my blogs and practising my photography. The downfall in second life sometimes that people you met expect you to react as if the world revolves around them. These expectations comes in the roles of your time, your attention and sometimes your money; All to satisfy their fun in the game. Do not give in. United Colors Latest Release from UberSL  I am very proud of this outfit designed by a special friend. I love how the chains and sexiness added with raw intensity through the spikes that protrudes from it. It speaks of volume like I'm sexy or this is sexy but you cannot touch. If you try to, you will be hurt yourself through the sharp spikes embedded into this fabric. Congratulations United Colors for this marvelous design. My Balancing Act  After 2 years of Second Life hiatus and back to focusing in my Real Life. I have returned to this virtual world - at first for a friend and now, reassessing myself within this virtual reality. I remember in the earlier days where I've got drawn into this game and ended up losing my reality. That 2 year break helped me to find the balance; furthermore, my very own SL friends themselves reminding me that second life should be our platform where we gather and share our interest, fun and life. While at the same time, it is a gateway to knowledge sharing and gateway. I have made penpals to some of SL Friends exchanging post cards and gifts; but of course the caution to Second Life experiences; we have to be careful who we give our real life details to. I enjoyed being Isleen's personal shopper. I guess having friends to attend the gacha not only helps you save money but also easier to trade amongst ourselves. Portrait - Huntressmoon Darkmatter I was with one of my closes friend in second life - Titaniafenix Unplugged. I mean I have known for a while just got recently close as we found out insatiable taste to fashion and cute stuff in second life events. Recently, she brought me to the Crystal Heart event that I fell in love with theme. I must say of all those shopping experience here, this is the first time, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Best part is, I get to relived my childhood favourite anime- Sailormoon. I happen to own one of the earlier edition since the early 90s. Also, I have the entire series and extension - Plus figurines!. Now for the first time in 6 years of Second Life, I get to make it happen. I think I will be sticking on this look for a while. I believe they do provide a good additions in enhancing Second Life photography with environment. It has been a while since I have last posted the entry for Crimson Republic Clan. I may have missed out many, my apologies. As per my last posting, there was a personal heart matter that I had to deal with. My friend has finally laid to rest on May 4th this year and to go through the ordeal took me some time of recovery. Castle Dark Haven location when I first started Today's post, I will feature memories that traced my footsteps back to the beginning of my Second Life experience. Unfortunately, like most sims, the place where I first rezzed known as Vienna no longer exists. The first place I ever went was a furry castle, said to be one of the oldest in Second Life since 2007. This is where I first learned and started amateurishly as a DJ there. Collabor 88 April Event I admit that I do have more works kept compared to the ones that I have displayed. Always felt it was not good enough, not that I have missed out those events; believe me I am so in love with such environment. My biggest challenge is fighting to get into a full sim after multiple tries of trying to teleport in - just to get the latest scope and attire. I am a blogger, but I am not tied to any designers. This is because of the freedom I enjoy in working on my arts; I believe in quality over time frames - I really cannot keep up with the deadlines. Second Life Art requires me to get into the mood, to feel the avatars and the type of emotions I want to invoke. Day by day, I am slowly learning and speeding up my works. Sunrise to a new era My, my. How time flies. First off, I have started Second Life since May 25, 2009. It was a joke to me at first when I've met my rl friend who spoke about such things; Mind you I've found it to be ridiculous at first. After a few months later, I decided to give it a try. And here I am, fast forward close to 7 years later. I am still here - Occasional off and on RL of course. I am sure, a lot of people would have experienced quite the similar cycles of this second life. The new beginnings of a friendship, the lovers, the heart broken, tragedy, marriages and even death. I never expect to still be in SL after all this time. Though, I can tell you this; that it is not an escape from my RL. But, it is my little rabbit hole to connect with my old friends over the years. After being more active in blogging for the second life fashion scene, I have realised that it gets harder than it looks. The more that I practise in my photo design skills, the more I become very OCD in the outcome of the images. Thus, leading to the end result of having both Artistic and Writer's block. So.. hate that. I guess I could just speed up my work by merely taking a snapshot and then playing with the lightning, but I can't.
