In memory of Jang Talon, Six Radio Second Life

Castle Dark Haven location when I first started Today's post, I will feature memories that traced my footsteps back to the beginning of my Second Life experience. Unfortunately, like most sims, the place where I first rezzed known as Vienna no longer exists. The first place I ever went was a furry castle, said to be one of the oldest in Second Life since 2007. This is where I first learned and started amateurishly as a DJ there. You can visit the location here: Castle Dark Haven @ Dover Moving on, the impact of my life where I first worked as a DJ in ccs sim with Six Radio. I was introduced to Jang Talon. Rest in Peace Jang As time moves forward, we still kept in touch on the real world, where his pc no longer works to manage Second Life. I used to update him about it and then posting and sharing the most silliest facebook memes and pictures. I remember Jang has always been there for me, offering comfort and wise advise about life. No matter how hard was it for him,

Music for the soul

Music for my soul artwork After days of reading tutorials, studying artwork from other designers and also speaking to some, I managed to piece the ideas together. Special mentioned to Ninip resident, whom I just met while he was doing his photoshot with a friend of mine. You can check out his works here -  Ninip Resident Flickr Yeap, I had my recent wave of designer's block again and speaking to him helped me sparked the idea to come out with this concept. I must say I truly enjoy talking to other talents here in Second Life. Today's highlight is the Epiphany event which I always look forward to attend. I actually managed to get in on the second week. But thanks to my monster block, it took me a while to churn out this photography theme. Literally feeling the epiphany Jumping on my funky chair at my home studio, Above is how I felt when I managed to get into the event at a full sim. Photography Obsession and SL Fashion events

Collabor 88 April Event I admit that I do have more works kept compared to the ones that I have displayed. Always felt it was not good enough, not that I have missed out those events; believe me I am so in love with such environment. My biggest challenge is fighting to get into a full sim after multiple tries of trying to teleport in - just to get the latest scope and attire. I am a blogger, but I am not tied to any designers. This is because of the freedom I enjoy in working on my arts; I believe in quality over time frames - I really cannot keep up with the deadlines. Second Life Art requires me to get into the mood, to feel the avatars and the type of emotions I want to invoke. Day by day, I am slowly learning and speeding up my works. I proud to announce that this took me a day to complete - compare to a week or two or sometimes grrrr, I end up tearing my entire works and just chuck it aside. It was not good enough. learning how to create environment as photography pr

Sands of Time

Sunrise to a new era My, my. How time flies. First off, I have started Second Life since May 25, 2009. It was a joke to me at first when I've met my rl friend who spoke about such things; Mind you I've found it to be ridiculous at first. After a few months later, I decided to give it a try. And here I am, fast forward close to 7 years later. I am still here - Occasional off and on RL of course. I am sure, a lot of people would have experienced quite the similar cycles of this second life. The new beginnings of a friendship, the lovers, the heart broken, tragedy, marriages and even death. I never expect to still be in SL after all this time. Though, I can tell you this; that it is not an escape from my RL. But, it is my little rabbit hole to connect with my old friends over the years. RESURRECTION BLOOD FAMILY SIM HOME - SLBloodlines The sim that I have decided to feature today for my photoshoot is a secondlife Bloodlines location, known as the Resurrection Blood

Wall Flower

After being more active in blogging for the second life fashion scene, I have realised that it gets harder than it looks. The more that I practise in my photo design skills, the more I become very OCD in the outcome of the images. Thus, leading to the end result of having both Artistic and Writer's block. So.. hate that. I guess I could just speed up my work by merely taking a snapshot and then playing with the lightning, but I can't. Pose Fair Today's look has a little twist in vintage design and futuristic geometrics art with a sprinkle of sexy to it. It took me a while to finally find the perfect accessories top, before that I use to wear it as a cloth but ever since I went full mesh avatar, such top was hard to find; until Shiny Shabby Event.
