Finding your own Balance

Arch-angel second life photo  This is a little piece of Second Life photography work I did and thanks to this beautiful and poetic sim known as Preiddeu Annwn. It gave me the inspiration to bring the entire picture to life. My concept of this photo is about an angel guiding the spirit ships to the heavens.Clad in Astralia's beautiful make from the newly launched Garden gacha event, I was able to realised this imagery from my imagination. Second Life has kept me busy, but of all things I find joy in my blogs and practising my photography. The downfall in second life sometimes that people you met expect you to react as if the world revolves around them. These expectations comes in the roles of your time, your attention and sometimes your money; All to satisfy their fun in the game. Do not give in. No matter how close your years of friendship to these selfish ones. Remember, to strike a balance between your fun in Second Life and your Reality world. I once told a dear fri

What is Second Life to me?

My Balancing Act  After 2 years of Second Life hiatus and back to focusing in my Real Life. I have returned to this virtual world - at first for a friend and now, reassessing myself within this virtual reality. I remember in the earlier days where I've got drawn into this game and ended up losing my reality. That 2 year break helped me to find the balance; furthermore, my very own SL friends themselves reminding me that second life should be our platform where we gather and share our interest, fun and life. While at the same time, it is a gateway to knowledge sharing and gateway. I have made penpals to some of SL Friends exchanging post cards and gifts; but of course the caution to Second Life experiences; we have to be careful who we give our real life details to. Creative business ideas, hanging out with friends at fashion events, dressing up like twins and most importantly - friendship, love

Finding my epiphany

+gemposes+ on the edge post - photography by huntressmoon darkmatter Tita and I visited on the second day of Epiphany when it opened yesterday (well technically 2 days ago). I enjoyed being Isleen's personal shopper. I guess having friends to attend the gacha not only helps you save money but also easier to trade amongst ourselves. This is what I enjoy about Second Life, it is not only about the awesome events but having to share them with your friends. Thank you girls. front facade of the photography Sim Location: Retrospect/128/128/21 Poses: On the Edge by  +gemposes+ What my avatar is wearing: Shopping Location:  The Epiphany Shopping Guide:  The Epiphany July Tops:   #11 Blueberry - Energy - COMMON - Catsuit - Sky  #16 Blueberry - Energy - COMMON - Chain Bra - Black  Accessories: #21 Blueberry - Energy - COMMON - Armlets - Multi Color  #25 Blueberry - Energy - COMMON - Choker - Sky  Shoes: #14 Blueberry - Energy - COMMO

Music for the soul

Music for my soul artwork After days of reading tutorials, studying artwork from other designers and also speaking to some, I managed to piece the ideas together. Special mentioned to Ninip resident, whom I just met while he was doing his photoshot with a friend of mine. You can check out his works here -  Ninip Resident Flickr Yeap, I had my recent wave of designer's block again and speaking to him helped me sparked the idea to come out with this concept. I must say I truly enjoy talking to other talents here in Second Life. Today's highlight is the Epiphany event which I always look forward to attend. I actually managed to get in on the second week. But thanks to my monster block, it took me a while to churn out this photography theme. Literally feeling the epiphany Jumping on my funky chair at my home studio, Above is how I felt when I managed to get into the event at a full sim.
